PrecisionTree

Video Icon.    To help you with your coursework, we are posting video lessons for working with PrecisionTree. Each video lesson runs less than ten minutes.

These lessons were designed for high speed access. They may work with a 56K modem; however, there will be delays as the videos buffer. We are working on links for 56K modem access. If you need help viewing or listening to the videos, or downloading the free plug-ins, Click Plug-ins and Video Tips. Click your browser's Back button to return to this page.

PrecisionTree Video Series

We recommend playing the videos in the order listed.

Beginning PrecisionTree: This video shows how to start the PrecisionTree program and to begin a Decision Tree. It is assumed that PrecisionTree is already installed on the computer you are using. The example discussed is the Midwest Casting example, and the video ends with the first decision node.

PrecisionTree Part II: This video continues the Midwest Casting example. It adds Random Outcome nodes and the second decision node. It also demonstrates how to copy and paste a node.

PrecisionTree Part III: This video continues the Midwest Casting example, up to the third decision nodes.

PrecisionTree Finish: This video completes the Midwest Casting example.

PrecisionTree Risk Profile: This video shows PrecisionTree's Decision Analysis tool and how to create a Risk Profile.

PrecisionTree Sensitivity: This video illustrates how to do a One Way Sensitivity Analysis in PrecisionTree. Tornado diagrams and Spider diagrams are illustrated.

Two Way Sensitivity: This video illustrates how to do a Two Way Sensitivity Analysis in PrecisionTree. The results are presented both as a table and as a 3D Excel chart.
