We recommend playing the videos in the order listed.
Break Even Setup: This shows the initial spreadsheet setup for the break even problem. The data dictionary and calculation of the cost function is given. No @RISK or uncertainty is discussed. I followed 11.5 pretty closely.
Break Even Computed: This continues the Break Even example, adding the calculation of Revenue and the Break Even point. No @RISK or uncertainty is discussed.
Break Even Uncertainty I: Some of the variables are given distributions. It is assumed that @RISK is already installed. The Discrete and the Normal distributions are used.
Break Even Uncertainty II: The rest of the variables are given distributions. In addition to the Discrete distribution, the Log-Normal distribution is used.
Break Even Simulation: This shows the steps for running Monte Carlo simulation using @RISK.
Break Even Sim Results: This discusses the output window of the simulation. A graph (distribution) of the break even values is produced, as well as a tornado diagram. The sensitivity of the results is discussed using the tornado diagram and the correlation coefficients.
